Happy Friday! Some Instagram pics from my week just for you...

I tried making homemade chex mix this week! It turned out pretty good I will just have to find out how to make it a bit more flavorful next time. I made two different kinds dill and ranch!

Trevor and I finished up our Christmas shopping in the city, so we had dinner at Peters Drive-In! It was my first time there and it was too cool. Old fashion burgers, fries, and milkshakes! They have about 100 different kinds, I tried coconut, and Trevor had egg nog.

{Pinterest Finds}

Have you seen elf on the shelf yet?? This year is the first I've ever heard of the freaky little elf parents hide around the house for their children to find in quirky little scenarios! It's a pretty fun idea...but he {the elf} scares me a little...anyone else? lol Anyways if your a parent that loves elf on the shelf I've pinned some ideas this morning, enjoy!

{InstaFriday}

yHappy InsaFriday! Here are a few of my Instagram pics from the week! I hope you enjoy...

Sorting through my grandma's tea cups...my mom and her 4 sister-in-laws got 80 tea cups each!! So my mom let me go through them and pick 6 for myself.

I ran out of ground coffee, so I got to use our coffee grinder for the first time this week.

I stopped at Timmie Ho's for a cookie and a coffee.

And with all this snow and cold weather, coco {the dog} stays inside more so I like to take her for more walks than I usually do which she loves!

And that means I have to bundle up!!

{sparkle Sparkle}

Happy Thanksgiving to my American followers! I wanted to share some Christmas decor pics that I think are to cool! For our wedding Trevor and I had a "Wish Tree" instead of a traditional guest book.{I will work on posting a picture of it, with tags and all from our wedding day.} It worked out perfectly, everyone filled out a tag with advice, or well wishes and hung it on our tree. Some tags were very funny, especially some that got hung later in the night, and some were very touching that I will treasure forever. My plan is to eventually put them into a scrap book along with pictures from our reception.

This is the tree!! It sits in a corner in our home, and I decided to put some Christmas balls on it! I think it looks really sweet, and I also think I just might be decorating it for every season!

I've been doing this alot lately, taking my picture in front of shiny, sparkly things! lol.

Hope you all have a great day :)

{InstaFriday}

Happy Friday! Lately InstaFriday is the only post I have been able to commit to, Instafriday is a really great post where you share your weekly Instagram app photos from your phone!

This week Trevor was home and we were able to have breakfast together. It's my favorite thing to do when Trevor is home, cook a nice breakfast and enjoy it in the morning over coffee.

Ahh the grocery store...

I got my nails filled and went with "white gold" for my tip color!

Trevor and I discussed that I could start putting Christmas decorations up December 1st...obviously I couldn't wait that long. If it was up to me I would have them up November 1st!

Mmmm my favorite hot sauce

{InstaFriday!}

Happy Friday! I almost forgot to share my IG pics with you, and I made a huge effort to take lots of good ones this week!

My new mixer! I used it the first time to make banana bread, and it totally made it taste better!

I have yet to put away my mini pumpkins! And quite a few of our other fall decorations...I might just leave them up until it's time to put up Christmas stuff!

So the banana bread I made with the mixer went with biscuits, and cinnamon buns I prepared for an amazing Sunday Brunch!

...We also had fruit, yogurt, and a potatoe, cheese, sausage, and egg casserole! Sooo good!

We got our fist snowfall...but it has since melted!

I randomly made playdough...

And I started making some adorable bunting!

{Tip Me Tuesday!}

Any guesses of what I was up to??

I was baking! PLAYDOUGH! Haha I know so random...I just had a craving to make playdough. So for tip me tuesday I'm sharing my recipe...I also tried making a "cornstarch slime" that was iteresting?! And messy! It was cool, I mean kids would probably like it, but again a word to the wise, put down some newspaper or somethin' because it will get everywhere! lol

For my recipe you need:
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tbsp of cream of tar tar
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of salt
- Food coloring

Combine all ingredients into a medium sauce pan {pot}, and stir constantly. In 3-5 minutes your mixture should be forming a ball, once a nice firm ball has been formed, carfelly take out of your sauce pan and kneed for 5 minutes! When you get to the kneading stage feel free to add as much or as little food coloring as you want!

Happy crafting everyone!! Hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and come back tomorrow to see some of the beautiful fabric I have ordered!

{Yarn Ball Halloween Wreath}

I'm linking up with Tip Junkie today for Tip Me Tuesday, and sharing my latest fall craft, my yarn ball wreath!! I can't wait to make one for every season!

For this craft you will need:
-Styrofoam balls various sizes (I used three different ones)
-A wreath
-Black ribbon
-Three different colors, and textures of yarn
-Glue gun
-Oh and a cup of ice if you tend to burn you fingers all the time with the glue gun like me!

The finished product!!

So after you finish wrapping all your Styrofoam balls, randomly add them to your wreath, easy as that! I added a couple spiders to my wreath, you could also add some Cobb Webb's, or tiny pennant banner!

{Mini-Pumpkin Pies}

Minis!!

1. Pre heat oven 350 degrees F
2. Fill muffin tin with tart shells
3. Separate one egg, and place the egg white in a small bowl. Beat the egg white until slightly frothy, and brush edges of each mini pie crust with egg white. Place the remaining yolk into a bowl, and beat with remaining eggs. Mix softened cream cheese, with 1/2 a cup of white sugar, 1 cup pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon of spices into the eggs to make the filling smooth. Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling into each tart shell.
4. Bake for 20 minutes, filling should be set, and shells should be golden brown.

Bon appetite!
