{St.Patties Pies}

For an early St.Patties treat at work I decided to make some Whoopie Pies!!! I got the recipe from my good friend Kelsey, they were a hit with my husband. After he played hockey one night he came home and said "Brandon {Kelseys husband} brought these awesome cookies to hockey, you should really make them, there like homemade oreos."

A. They are nothing like oreos, I would compare them to mini brownies, they are chewy and chocolaty, and pretty much amazing!

B. Easiest recipe EVER!

All you need is 2 boxes of chocolate devils food cake mix, 4 eggs, and 2/3 cups of oil!! Mix those exact ingredients together and you will get this:

It's a bit sticky but that's what you want.

I used my tablespoon to measure out perfect cookie portions. For a bit larger of a finished cookie you can press your "cookie balls" flat. Cook your "cookie balls" for 8-10 minutes at 375.

TADA!! Beautiful St.Patties Pies!! I used a cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla mixture for my icing.

{Pantry Love}

Oh you know just getting really inspired by pinterest, and some awesome Martha Stewart labels I found at Staples of all places! I think I'm going to reorganize my pantry to look like this:

Via Pinterest from House of Smiths

And I will probably use these:

The labels came in all different shapes and sizes dry erase, chalkboard, white, red, blue, brown paper, round, square, rectangle, and some of the labels even had pretty edges like {this}!

Oh and all the pretty colorful tags! I was in serious organization heaven!

Do you Pin? If not leave your email in the comments section and I can send you an invite!!

{Lovely Links!}

Happy Monday!! It's been a very long weekend for me I completed my CPR and First Aid, I got 95%! Whoop Whoop! That took most of my weekend up the course was 2 days and each day was 8 hours, it pretty much felt like work...And now today I'm back in the office for a 12 hour day!

I wanted to share a few amazing websites/blogs that I recently came across. I'm sure many of you may have already heard of these great websites, but I'm always a little late on things like that.

                                                      Apartment Therapy Family

Apartment Therapy Family features nurseries and children's rooms from around the world! It's a great site for decorating ideas, and inspiration!

                                                               Apartment Therapy

Apartment Therapy is just like Apartment Therapy Family but instead of nurseries, and children's rooms, it's the whole home! Some of these spaces are so beautiful! I could spend hours on this website!

                                                                     Heavy Petal

I also have a love for gardening, Trevor and I are planning on doing some major landscaping-planting-pruning-and gardening this summer, and Heavy Petal is just the place to start. This Canadian based blogger, has tons of tips for planting and gardening!

I haven't blogged in so long I still have to wish all my lovely followers Happy Christmas, and Merry New Year! I hope everyone had as great of a holiday season as I did, I can't wait for what 2012 has to offer!

If you don't know already one of my most favorite blogs of all time is Gussy Sews! I actually had a small interview on her blog too after I won a giveaway for a shop makeover. Maggie, or Gussy as I usually call her recently posted a list of her favorite books which I found quite intriguing. So of course I had to go out and purchase two of the books from her list!

The first I'm going to read is The Handmade Marketplace by Kari Chapin.

So far it's been a really great read, and I just couldn't help myself, I had to skip ahead to the chapter on blogging! I look forward to sharing a few lines from the book with you, that I find especially helpful :)
